Terms of Service
Last updated 21 October 2026
Binder 93 is operated by Niall Baum, a sole trader based in the UK, trading as Binder 93 (“we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of Binder 93. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
The service
Binder 93 is a tool for tracking a trading card collection (Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Digimon): cataloguing cards, tracking market value, maintaining a wishlist, and trading with other collectors. A free account covers your collection, its value and a monthly allowance of AI card scans and tools; Binder 93 Plus adds unlimited price alerts, your full value history, eBay UK prices, the UK deal feed and a bigger AI allowance. The Pricing page lists exactly what each plan includes.
To keep the service fast and fair for everyone, there’s a limit on how much one account can store (currently 5,000 card entries, each holding any number of copies, plus 1,000 wishlist items, 200 sealed products and 1,000 sold records). If you need more, email support@binder93.com.
Links to eBay listings may be affiliate links through the eBay Partner Network: if you buy something after following one, eBay may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes which listings we show you or the order they’re in (always cheapest first, including postage).
Accounts
You must be 16 or over to create an account, and if you’re under 18 you need a parent or guardian’s permission to subscribe to Binder 93 Plus.
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.
You can sign in with an email and password, or with your Google account. If you use Google, keeping that Google account secure is part of keeping your Binder 93 account secure, and Google’s own terms apply to the Google account itself.
Subscriptions & billing
- Each account can try Plus’s features free for 14 days, once, starting when you confirm your email address. We don’t ask for payment details, so nothing is charged when it ends: your account simply returns to the free plan. Scans and AI tools stay at the free allowance during the trial.
- Moving to the free plan (when a trial ends, or a subscription you’ve cancelled runs out) never deletes anything. Price alerts beyond the free limit are paused, not removed, and older value history is hidden, not removed. Subscribing again brings both back.
- Binder 93 Plus is billed monthly or annually in advance. Paddle sells it to you as our reseller and merchant of record, so your purchase is also covered by Paddle’s buyer terms, and Paddle handles payments, receipts, VAT and refunds.
- You can cancel any time from Settings. You keep Plus access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and won’t be charged again.
- Your first payment is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. Renewal payments aren’t refunded, except where the law requires it. See our Refund Policy for details.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your content
You own the data and photos you add to Binder 93. You grant us the licence needed to store it and display it back to you; if you deliberately create a trade binder, showcase or public profile link, to whoever has that link; and, if you join the leaderboards, to show your display name, avatar and leaderboard progress to other collectors.
AI features
Card identification, pricing, and AI-generated answers (Ask, smart search, your weekly summary, etc.) are estimates to help you, not guarantees. Always double-check anything you rely on for a real purchase, sale, or trade decision.
Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to abuse, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, circumvent usage limits, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Anything other people can see must follow these rules. That means your display name and avatar, and on a trade binder, showcase or public profile link, your cards’ notes and trade photos. It must not be offensive, hateful or sexual, must not pretend to be another person or organisation, must not be used to harass anyone, and must not include anything illegal. Trade photos must be photos of the card they’re attached to. Trades must be honest: don’t list cards you don’t have, or pass off fakes as real. Leaderboard standings must come from a real collection.
For your own safety, don’t put phone numbers, addresses or social media handles in notes on cards you share. Anyone with the link can read them.
Reports, moderation and complaints
- Anyone can report a collector from the leaderboards, or report a shared page with the “Report this page” link at its foot, without needing an account. The person reported is never told who reported them.
- We review every report, aiming to do so within two days, and act on anything illegal as quickly as we can. Depending on what we find, we may remove a photo or notes, hide a collector from the leaderboards, switch off their share links, or suspend their account. Serious or repeated breaches lead to suspension. We keep a record of every report and what we did about it.
- If a child is in danger, contact the police on 999. You can also report child sexual abuse images directly to the Internet Watch Foundation.
- If we’ve acted on your content or account and you think we got it wrong, or you’re unhappy with how we handled a report, contact us (or email support@binder93.com if your account is suspended). We’ll look at it again and reply, usually within a week.
Availability
Binder 93 is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee. Market pricing and card data come from third-party sources we don’t control and can’t guarantee are always accurate or available.
Liability
Binder 93 is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for losses arising from reliance on pricing data, AI-generated suggestions, or service interruptions.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we didn’t use reasonable care and skill, we’ll either repair the damage or compensate you.
Ending your account or the service
You can stop using Binder 93 and delete your account at any time in Settings. Cancel any Plus subscription first so you’re not charged again. If you don’t sign in for 2 years (and aren’t paying for Plus), we’ll email you, then delete the account 30 days later unless you sign in again. If we ever close Binder 93 or stop offering Plus, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email where we reasonably can, so you can download your collection, and we’ll always refund any Plus time you’ve paid for but can’t use. We may suspend or close an account straight away for a serious breach of these terms (see “Reports, moderation and complaints”).
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page, and if a change materially affects you, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you don’t agree to a change, you can cancel Plus and delete your account before it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
